Affiliate DisclosureWe believe in telling it straight — so here’s exactly how RagdollCare.com works.
RagdollCare.com is an independent, breed-specific resource run by real Ragdoll owners. We don’t answer to a publisher, a pet industry sponsor, or an advertising network. What we do have — and want to be completely upfront about — are affiliate relationships with a small number of retailers and brands whose products we genuinely recommend.
What that means in practice:
Some of the links on this site — particularly in our shop and product recommendation pages — are affiliate links. If you click one of those links and go on to make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or type the URL directly into your browser. You never pay more. We never earn anything from you — only from the retailer, and only if you choose to buy.
Why we do this:
Running a site this focused takes real time. Researching products properly, writing honest reviews, keeping health and care information up to date, and building a resource that Ragdoll owners can actually trust — none of that happens by accident. The small commissions we earn through affiliate links are what allow us to keep RagdollCare.com free, independent, and growing, without plastering it with banner ads or accepting payment to promote products we haven’t tried.
What we promise you:
Our affiliate relationships do not influence which products we recommend. We only link to products we have genuinely used, researched, or would confidently recommend to a friend with a Ragdoll. If something doesn’t make the cut — if we’ve tried it and it wasn’t good enough, or if we simply don’t know enough about it to recommend it honestly — it won’t appear on this site with our endorsement, regardless of what commission it might pay.
The honest answer is: we’d rather recommend fewer things well than recommend everything and mean none of it.
Who we’re affiliated with:
Our primary affiliate relationships are with Amazon and a small number of specialist pet retailers. We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.com. This is one of the most widely used affiliate programs online and the one you’re most likely to encounter when browsing our shop or product pages.
